    • Can you adapt a standard motor to my application?

      Yes. Beyond the standard models, our series are available as customized versions: shafts (including hollow shafts), flanges and housings, windings and connections, and executions according to the customer’s own specification.

    • What feedback devices are available?

      A resolver is the standard feedback device. As options we supply various incremental encoders, SinCos encoders, Hiperface and EnDat, Hall effect sensors (HES) and tachogenerators. A PTC thermal sensor is standard, an NTC sensor is optional. See all options.

    • What protection classes do you offer?

      IP-65 is the standard protection; IP-67 is available as an option, together with a shaft seal. For wet and hygienic environments, the BF washdown series with stainless steel housing and shaft reaches IP 67 and IP69K.

    • Do you supply motors for hazardous areas?

      Yes. Mavilor products are certified ATEX / IECEx. DC and AC brushless motors are available in the EEx d IIC series, with tachometer, resolver and parking brake fitted internally. ATEX / IECEx motors.

    • What quantities do you work with?

      Our production line is built around series of 300 to 2,000 units — large enough to be industrialized, small enough to stay highly customized. Prototypes and pre-series come out of the same line.

    • Where are the motors made?

      In Barcelona. Mavilor has been developing, designing and manufacturing motors in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda for more than 50 years, as one of the Infranor Group’s development and manufacturing companies.

    • Which certifications do you hold?

      Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Products are certified UL, ATEX / IECEx, UE, IP-65, IP-67, RoHS and REACH, and we issue a duty cycle declaration according to IEC 60034-1. Quality & certifications.

    • How do I get a quote?

      Send the form above with the application data — torque and speed, available space, environment, duty cycle and expected quantities. An engineer reviews it and comes back with a motor concept and a quotation.
